COMPUTER TUTORING:

If you are interested in learning to use your new computer, or you need to learn a specific application, why not learn easily, and conveniently in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace? One of the problems first-time computer owners encounter is that they don't even know what they need to learn. Here's what I recommend for beginners.

  • Basic Internet:  - what it means to access the web, how to send and receive e-mail, how to search the web and bookmark interesting sites, downloading free software.
  • Software:  - getting started using your word processor and other software programs.
  • Basic Computer Terminology: - Learn the basic parts of the computer and how they work; CPU, RAM, ROM

  • Computer Maintenance:  - how to take care of your computer including information on updating virus protection and maximizing hard disk storage via defragmentation
